Harness racing is, like many sports and industries, male-dominated. However, some women have struggled, worked hard, and pursued a career in the field they love--which in this case is harness racing. Careers can be found in the racing office, in racetrack management, as well as those of trainers, drivers, grooms, caretakers, veterinarians and farriers.
