Please sign our guestbook!~~We'd really enjoy hearing from you about our horses,
our facility and our web site. Thanks for visiting our site, and enjoy your day!
I was surfing around ,as we all do, and came across your person of the month Billy Perkins oh my. I last saw Billy at Rosecroft many years ago after not seeing him for many years before that at Rockingham Park. Glad to see he is alive and well. A blast from the past.
I love your site. I check out your picks everytime I play Balmoral and your great!
This is regarding G.Brennan, you are a world class driver and I know you are going where the money is but don't forsake the MEADOWLANDS remember G. GRISMORE, when it falls apart they still need your expertise at the Big M,don't forsake the home that made you a household name please.on it feet with better purses for the horsemen and women of the State who work so hard.
I enjoy your articles!
I live in Maine and have enjoyed harness racing for many years. I am very concerned about the possible closing of Meadowlands raceway. though I live in
Maine I love playing the Meadowlands, along with our local tracks;as a matter of fact, the Meadowlands is the only out of state track I do wager on. It will be a
terrible loss to the State of New Jersey and to the many racing fans like myself if they decide to shut down. I hope the Governor comes to his senses and works with all who are involved with Meadowlands Raceway to resolve their differences and keep harness racing alive at the best track in New Jersey.
I was milling through the web and came across a "personality of the Month" column about me that was written in Aug. 2008. I never knew anything about it until about five minutes ago.....sooooooooooooo THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!
What a great honor to be cited by such a wonderful organization such as Odds On Racing!!!
I was really flabbergasted when I saw this....
You know, us crazy people who love our sport to the point of sacrificing a "living" because we love iur sport so much are a rare breed...and it's really nice that someone has noticed.
Illinois was my home for 36 years and I hope, someday, to get back for a visit to my old stomping ground! Washington Park and Sportsman's and Aurora Downs are just memories--grand ones at that--and I really hope that Illinois racing can get back
Thanks again for the honor...(even though the "thanks" is a year and a half late!!!)
Your site is very impressive. I am an avid and fairly knowledgeable harness racing fan, but there is historic information in here that I was not aware of, and it is organized with great care and attention to detail. Thank-you, and wishing you only the best in racing.
Hi Robin....Just wanted to congratulate you and the entire staff on your March 2010 success.
A fine website its very honest great work , thank you very much.
I am from Michigan and like you harness racing is almost done in both Michigan and Illinois. That isn't what I writing about though, everytime I wanted some info on or about harness racing ODDS ON RACING, always pops up on every web site and your knowledge and love of the sport really enthuses me, even though I am not a driver or trainer I am a avid lover of the sport of harness racing, and I am a lover of the standardbred horse, watch all of the races from the past and the present. Well what I am trying to say is CONGRATS on everything you do for this sport, and your website is incredibile. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
Yesterday I only wagered $50 on the speculative picks---2 WPS on long odds M/L & 2 WP on short odds M/L--so $50 returned $63.80 (that's 27.6% profit). Years ago I remember seeing Michael's picks on the simulcast screen for the Chicago tracks. After seeing Michael's awesome results for Wed., I thought I'd give his picks a shot, and somehow found the Odds On Racing site. I really appreciate your service. Keep up the good work.
Top rate info for anyone playing playing maywood-balmoral keep up good work!
I just saw your profile of the month story on myself and wanted to write and say thank you for the honor. It was well written, acurate and I like how you had my photo with Teller! Thank you again!
I love this site....but does anyone now were I can find a picture of Big Towner or Rayson Hanover, because they were my horse's grandfather and father and I just want to see what they look like. Thanks!
Hey there---Just found this site and its great!
I'm from Australia and was wondering what the Americans think of A ustralian horses. Do any of them do any good over there? Thanks so much!
I spent 18 yrs training &driving and your site is great for all kinds of interesting information on the sport. Thank You
Lars B Gustafsson
I'm a swedish racing fan that would like to thank You for a very useful and interesting site. It puts focus on the horses and the racing like no other. Please keep up the good work!
Just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying your Website. I'm new to harness racing and your pages are so full of great information. Thanks so much for the education.
Malmo Boy's #1 Fan
Hi Robin, I recently received the Malmo Boy win picture that you promised me. Thank you so much!
It's a great picture (I like how it was laminated) and I knew that I wouldn't have to wait very long for him to get into that winner's circle. I watched live from the OTB and he looked great that night in the post parade and warm-up. I could tell that he was going to run big that night. He just needed the trip and a good drive and he got it.
That Dean Magee is alright! I was a little disappointed in this past Saturday's (7-14-07) result though but, he ran a good last quarter when he was asked to run. I know that he can't win them all and he is running against tough company.
"MB" means alot to me as a fan and I just want him to be safe and do good all of the time. He keeps my interest in harness racing alive and I am very thankful that he is the hands and under the care of such a kind trainer.
You took time out of your busy schedule to respond to a fan's e-mail and then then you followed up with your promise of sending a win photo. I just wanted you to know how much that meant to me.
I am learning something every day that makes me realize the harness racing world and the people in it are very special. If they would take a long look, the thoroughbred world could learn a lesson from you guys.
Robin, thank you and your staff again for what you have done for me and for taking good care of Malmo Boy. Someday, I hope that I will get the chance to see him race or even just meet him and you in person. I'll be watching this coming Saturday night with confidence that "MB" will race well. Best of luck in that race and all of the others as well.
While I was attempting to find the names of harness racing trainers, I came across your great site. The reason I am writing is to ask whether you know where I could find any information on a trainer/driver who was my grandfather. His name is James Westley Powell, (1878-1943) and he lived in Burnt River, near Orillia, Ontario.
My father told me stories about how he would drive the horse and sulky during warm-ups at races when he was about 12 years old. This would be about the year 1930. I have a cousin who apparently has my grandfather's silks, medals and trophies but won't share anything about them with me. My sister has also asked him for info.
I am not sure if my grandfather raced anywhere other than in Ontario. Do you know if there is a site on the internet that may help me? Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
Ralph Figlow Jr
Robin and company....I just wanted to drop a note to congratulate you on such an informative site. A mutual friend of Betty Wilcox Cooper, Ross Perry told me to check it out and it's nice to know that your farm offers so much in the line of a professional and pleasant atmosphere for your staff. It's not often such outfits exist for so many hard working and dedicated horsepeople. Keep up the good work and continued success.
Fantastic site! I stumbled across the famous horse roster while trying to find Storm Damage's sire. Very informative and entertaining website.
Your site is very useful.
You have a great site and a very attractive facility. I drive by nearly everyday on my way to work. I personally own two retired standardbred geldings. They aregreat horses. My daughters love horses and riding very much. If you ever have an open house that's open to the public my daughters and I would love to see the place.
I became aware of your stable a few years ago. I'm a good friend of the Tetrick family & watched each of the boys grow up & enter their racing careers thru the county fairs in Illinois. I check the internet every day to see how the Tetrick family is doing in racing. I think you giving Tim an opportunity to drive quality horses for you helped him greatly in improving his abilities & thereby getting more opportunities to drive quality horses for other trainers also. Now you're giving Trace the same opportunities. He's a great young man with lots of talent & I really appreciate the opportunities you're giving him.
Just saw the pictures of the crew at the Christmas party, everyone looks terrific and enjoying the 'dinner cruise.' Thanks for sharing the fun!!!!
Karl Hansen of New Zealand
Wonderful website. Has Odds on Racing any thoughts of entering a Pacer/Trotter in the interdominion series held in Australia/New Zealand? Brett Pelling bought Cams Fool and Articulator down for the series in Tasmanian 2006
Hi Robin. I did get time to look at your site, very nice facilities, I am impressed! It was so nice to meet you in Long Grove! I forwarded your site to my daughter Kelly! Keep up the great work and have a wonderful Christmas!
Hi Robin. I enjoyed meeting you at the Illini Classic Sale in Springfield on labor day, and you weren't kidding when you said that Make it Brief was coming back as good as ever. Congratulations!
Would just like to say great site very informative. You do a great job and may You have great success in the future.

Hello, we just found your website. Susan Wellman from ASAP gave me the web address. We have adopted Odds On Tom. I just wanted to let you know he is doing fantastic! My husband and I just love him. Tom is a great horse, Susan knows how much I love this big boy and she said you would like to know that. I call him my big baby. Thank you so much for such an awesome horse!!
Great website. Its nice to see how well things are at Odds On Racing. I hope to see some of your horses at Sciota Downs in 06.
I used to work with Odds On Duane, False Alarm, and Odds on Big Tom. but my favorite horse was Odds On Western--give him a big hug wherever he is. I worked with Odds On horses when I groomed for trainer Nat Varty in Ontario, Canada.
I've spent 25 years a trainer-driver and this is a great site. I've got lots of friends in Illinois, but have raced mostly in Florida. Everyone in Illinois was and is very nice.
Excellent website. Very well thought out--a plus to the racing industry in illinois.
Tell Kim I said hello and she is doing an excellent job!!! She can post anything I write. Keep up the good work and good luck in 2006.
Nice web site. You have a lot of nice horses. My dad trains horses at Saratoga Raceway.
Robin, The website is very classy, good work. The farm looks like something to be proud of, congrats. I love how you have named your babbies after significant people in your life. A real tribute. You have brought alot to Ill. racing and I commend you for that!! Good luck in 06. Say hello to Doc W for me!! Mike, Excellant job with the bettors corner very informative and helpful keep picking winners. Not bad for the 2nd. best capper ever to be in Chi.!!!LOL!!
You have a great website! Thank you for it.
Hello, I think your website is really neat. I saw your trainer and a few grooms at Balmoral this summer in the paddock while racing our horse in the same race. My husband and I love horses and treat them like people. They need extra care and affection during the race season, and I noticed that me and you were the only ones that seemed to give it. Some people get so caught up in the money and scams, they forget why there in this business. I could tell you were a class act operation. Good to see you care about your stock.
Mary Ventura, A.A. Stagg High School
Dear Odds on Racing Staff,
I wanted to thank everyone on your staff for making our visit last week one of the highlights of our school year. Our students were wide-eyed with all the activity they saw. We have sent a few cards the students made off in the mail and hopefully you will enjoy looking at them as much as the students had making them. Your staff made our students feel welcomed and started the school year off to a great start. Thank you!
Hi-I really like your website-I'd love to be able to meet the person who puts it all together & Robin S.
This is a great site to keep up to date with all the Odds On Team. You all have built a wonderful operation.
Fantastic web site about your stable and harness racing. Look forward to Minnesota having a harness track in the near future and seeing your stable racing there.
The place looks great and this website is such a cool idea. I really miss being out there and this kinda keeps me up to date on all the horses. I have TVG at home, but sometimes I don't catch all the races but now I can see how everyone is doing. I hope that you will be posting pictures of all the foals that are born in the spring of 2005. The ones you have posted with Paige The Winner, and Talkofthebeach are so cute. Talkofthebeach's little filly looks like she fits her name Odds on Ariel is really pretty and that's exactly what that filly is--she is such a cutie. I really miss everyone up there ( horses and dogs included ) lol :)
Tony & Chris Lasinski "The Grey Stable"
Wonderful Website !!! Very informative,
tremendous job from your top notch organization... Good Luck in racing!
You have a great facility. I love the updates on the website. Outstanding bred two year olds.
Congrats on the investment you have made to the harness racing industry. Odds on we will see some Odds on stallions in the near future. Your operation looks amazing. All the best for a great stakes season.
Wow! Bill Haughton told me about this web site. Fantastic! Robin has been one hard working lady, and has done a fabulous job. Continued good luck.
Congratulations to everyone on the Odds On Racing Team and especially to my dear friend Dana.
The web site is more then impressive to say the least. The training facility looks like its second to none. I look forward to visiting the facility. Your committment and dedication to your people and the harness racing industry is most admirable.
Best of Luck to you Dana! As usual you have a first class operation started. Hope you are doing well. I think about you often.
Your operation is nothing less than awesome. GOOD LUCK with the colts. Hope you have a great year. It is good for Illinois racing to have a facility like yours in our state.
Hi! I've just recently viewed your website and think it's great. I enjoyed the whole tour. Best of Luck!
I've watched the progress of your facility, I drive by several times a week on my way home from work. I ran across your web site this past Friday I still haven't seen it all but so far _WHAT A SITE and facility_ I would be interested in a tour sometime. Thanks for sharing.
I've been involved with harness horses in some fashion since I was a kid, I love it, it's in my blood. The web site and training facility is quite impressive.
My wife and I have owned, bred, and raced horses for over 15 years now. For fun every year we pick a 'dream stable'. Odds On Duane was one of my picks...... and also the most expensive. I wish you the best with him and hope to see him on the track.
Chas. H. Varty
Robyn; Your web site is as thorough and exciting as your facility. Best of luck this year with your horses. Hope to see you next time you are in Canada.
Excellent web site, very professional and clear. Your facility grounds, and staff, are top notch.
It's a pleasure doing business with your organization.
Just came accross this site on google. Its really cool. Definately makes me want to ride horses, like when I was young. Anyway, I just moved into NYC a few weeks ago and will surely make some trips over the Meadowlands to see ya'll race. I'll keep my eye open for the purple checkers, and ya'll keep your eyes open for the fan on the side screaming "Yahoo for Odds On Racing!"
